Just found this Rolex WAB bracelet, I have been told it is not correct, just a Rolex clasp on a generic steel bracelet but I think it is correct.
Anyone seen one like this?
Cheers, Michael

It appears to be an authentic 60s-70s clasp made under license by Watch Accessories of Birmingham. They made jubilee and oyster bracelets, and deployant clasps for leather straps.
I cannot identify the bracelet as Rolex (or anything else)

Thanks,
It just feels right if that makes sense, I thought late 50s early 60s.
The wear seems consistent.
The WAB rivet bracelet is usually a strong bracelet so the clasp may have come from a jubilee? thanks, Michael

Google turned out to be my friend.

Found another on the net.
Tile link bracelet, well I never heard of that one.

Every day is a school day.

A Rolex Cellini with hidden lugs? 馃槙

Just might be. The example the OP found to match his against is different and has standard style curved head links. However I seem to recall some 50's era oyster bracelets featured straight end links so could be the OP's was fitted to an oyster style case.

Can I ask how wide the bracelet is @michael e ? The one you link to looks to be undersized.

I think mine is around 16mm.
The end pieces on these two differ of course. Looking at the one above it has curved end links with the same markings like found on WAB rivet bracelets.
Thanks, Michael

Generically, I call this type of bracelet "coffin link", so perhaps that might be a useful search term.

Generally seen on/with the Bulova Accutron Astronaut. I highly doubt it is OEM to Rolex, and I only say that because I have never heard or seen one attached to a Rolex 馃槜
