Coulda sworn I saw someone selling a Ceramic Seamaster a few months back with a DSOTM strap, but I can't find any proof that anyone's ever been able to get one of these to fit the case – seems like the strap is just a hair too thick, and I'm worried it might rub or damage the case if it's compressed to fit.

I mostly wear my Seamaster on a NATO, but would love to get it on a the DSOTM if possible... Any recs?

Omega lists both the DSOTM and the ceramic SM lug to lug width as 21mm and so it should not be an issue. I wear both on NATO straps of the same width and swap around without a problem.

It's not the lug width, it's the thickness of the strap itself, which makes contact with the 12 and 6:00 sides of the case. I actually have the deployant version, rather than the pin buckle version pictured above... Wonder if there's a difference in thickness?

The case is ceramic. Why would you be concerned that a Kevlar strap would scratch it Even if it is a tight fit? That’s supposed to be one of the main benefits of a ceramic case (and bezel), that they are more scratch resistant.

Not sure, honestly. Maybe I'm just paranoid? Guess I have a hard time believing that even an abrasion-resistant material could stand up to prolonged contact with a semi-abrasive (nylon/cordura) material, but I guess the only way to find out is to give it a try.
