Clockwork Synergy has a few https://www.clockworksynergy.com/shop/product-category/nato-straps/leather-nato/
On the subject of Nato questions does anyone know where I can find a leather NATO with a leather fixer, rather than with additional hardwear like the below (found on pin interest but I cant see where it is from.
I'd just been thinking of making a couple of leather NATO straps. I got one low end NATO strap on a Russian watch and picked up another on sale for 79 cents. I just don't care much for nylon for everyday wear but the buckles and loops are decent quality so I'm planning to replace the nylon with leather straps.
I saw some nice suede NATO on ebay sold out of Spain. Also suede NATOs sold in France from the web site of ABP Paris (Atelier du Bracelet Parisien). In the US BanRbands.com might have some nice stuff. Just you won’t find anything called “NATO” in the US because some idiot registered the word NATO and threatens sellers who use that word. Make sure you avoid him as he sells on Ebay under the name “NATO International”.
One of the members had a meltdown over that and earned himself a custom avatar message about switching to decaf. I think it was FullyWound (a very apropos screen name).
Yes, it was related to his overall behavior, but IIRC it was the NATO rant was the straw that broke the squirrel's back.
@Syrte probably going to end up deciding between the grey or caramel but first wanted to see the quality of a cheap one I bought from https://www.cheapestnatostraps.com/...vintage-suede-nato-brown?variant=440334450704. Its suppose to arrive this week hopefully. It was 20 bucks vs 60 from B&R bands. It will be interesting to compare between the two once I have them both.
Weird coincidence but my cheapestnato suede strap arrived today. It’s an 18mm that I’m going to put on my Accutron Astronaut. It was on sale for $6 and feels good so far. It’s thin enough which is important for me on a leather NATO. We’ll see how it holds up over time and hopefully the color doesn’t bleed
So just got the cheapestnato strap in haven't had time to put it on yet as my springbar tool is a little to big to get into the lugs, I think first impressions are definitely you get what you pay for, not trying to knock it but i feel 20 bucks was wasted but i guess it was worth a try. I'm going to try their nylon straps as i think those will be a little safer especially if they are on sale. If it was 6-10 bucks for these leather straps then yes i would think they would be good to see what you like before investing in a better strap.
