Yeah. I took a look at this too but I thought it was too good to be true. The price does not make any sense to me because he says everything is original. If he is saying new original parts maybe but the dial, bezel, and case all look to be vintage. Having one picture up of the watch is a red flag too. I would contact him if I were you and ask for more pics of the watch and see if you can get more details. Good luck.

I've contacted him and I felt like one of those guys who are too stupid to see a scam from five miles away... He's got more watches below marketprice on the web. Be careful out there!

I see so many ridiculous scams on Chronocentric. I wouldn't be surprised if someone finds the original source of these photos.

Is'nt there somebody who checks the sellers a bit before posting? I assume this would be impossible here on OF?

Thanks for letting us know. When I first saw this listing couple days ago I did a search on julienjulien777 and saw a post claiming that this guy was selling someone else's watch. The post was like "dude, you are selling my watch". I didn't mention it earlier because I wasn't sure if this was the same seller. There is julienjulien 777 and julienjulien777 and I just didn't want to accuse a seller of a scam when I wasn't 100% sure but i wouldn't be surprised if it's the same guy. Be careful indeed.

I do not like the dial. Something seems to be wrong to me.

When and If I'm crusing over there and I notice one of "these" I always ask: either Such a Deal or If it's too Good to be True.

Simple question for the seller, ask him to set the time on the watch for your specified time. This way you know the watch is in his possession. Any other answer from the seller would be just b...s... and you should run or report him. Just my 2 cents.

If the "seller" doesn't have the watch, but the true owner is selling, the fraudster can pose as a buyer and ask the true seller to set the time as instructed. I would also ask the seller to include in the photo a handwritten note saying "for sale by SELLER on VENUE" with their seller handle and where you connected.

Don't mess around with Julien777, I was researching on whether to buy a Rolex 14060 full b&p unpolished from him. The price was too good to be true - in just 1 email I got him to drop the price from $5.2K to $4.5K. Then I found other chronocentric posts where he was outed as using other member's pics to sell watches he didn't own.

Stay away from that guy. But if you want to troll him, make a ludicrous low ball offer and he'll probably accept it lol.

One of my oldest watch friends is still at aol.com. I have asked ebay sellers to include a pic or this or that just to confirm they really have the item in question. Basic start to confirmation
