Anyone know the name of these cases please?

Not sure I have seen one of these early Omega waterproof cases before.
Split stem with press fit glass, then the case snaps compressing the glass further for a better seal.
The crown looks original. Caliber is 17.8.
I bet @Tire-comedon knows what reference this is and what it is called. Any help appreciated.

I had 2 before. Case design later resurrected in the Omega chronograph 125. Never learned a special name for that design...

I was told "press case" but not sure if that is the official name. Coincidentally I just bought this little Piaget and I was wondering the same thing!

The concept makes me think of the first gen Dynamic case idea.

Thanks for that, very nice watches. The dial on that Piaget is really attractive.

Thanks Michael! It's a small watch, maybe the size of your Omega but I was also considering a bund styled strap like yours. The Omega looks great on that strap! 😀

I have a couple Bulova from the early 50’s with this style case. Seems to have been a thing.

Same for me, I have a pair of those but don't know any specific name for this type of case....

The straps are around £7 from Cousins in the UK 👍
