Wondering if anyone here scored this? It went for 12.05k EUR which is a steal if the watch is indeed legit.

Was watching the auction closely but missed the deadline by a bit as I was out in town. Seller has zero feedback on eBay.

Update: ha so I always thought that the background looked uncannily familiar. It turns out this should belong to the watch dealer who goes by the website “Luna Oyster”.

Damn this unscrupulous ebay sellers! Hope the buyer realises this before he commits.

Some buyers will just go ahead and take a risk even when these things seem 90% likely to be a scam, banking on eBay protection.

I don't think there is much protection if one is foolish enough to pay with direct money transfer as this seller had/ instructed/demanded.

Just for education purposes, what were the red flags of the watch?

If an ebay seller has 0 feedback...... thats a red flag especially selling a watch of this importance and with professional pictures most probably used from another source...

Pretty sure eBay cannot enforce a direct money transfer... Maybe someone was screwing around with the scammer.

Watch was good, eBay seller was not. Photos were stolen for this bogus auction.
