I was watching with intention to bid. But went too high for me. :(

IIRC, the starting bid was $3,500 but there was a BIN for $5,999. Surprised no one got it for BIN. I bet the seller is happy!

Was a straight auction and no BIN.

    Omega Speedmaster Chronograph ST 105.003 - 65

Not sure if the link worked but that was the description on the bay that sold this evening

I almost thought this was so perfect that it was some kind of fake..... but the guy told me it had sat in his dads drawer since new and only been worn a dozen times

What a joy to look at even the pictures of such an old classic in such beautiful condition! Wow

why do people list such things with 3 day auction durations? Blink and you miss competing for it.

I just posted on this same watch in wrong part of forum lol. Guy said his father was given it as a gift and wore it maximum a dozen times. He did have a bin on but took it off quickly after myself and some others peppered him with questions no doubt! Incredible condition

If I had seen that BIN, I would have definitely clicked it. Regrets..regrets.

Yeah, that's for sure. I would have drained the home improvement fund and sold it for a small profit! ;)

Considering the price for the condition, that was a steal.

I snagged this one, was too nice to pass up. :whistling:

Hope it lives up to expectations when in hand. And that I can wear it comfortably. By that I mean there are no vintage "safe queens" for me - my watches get worn or get gone - and this one might almost be too pristine, if that makes any sense.

Indeed it looks too nice to wear - value can only go down with use! (monetary value that is).
