Loves me my Feather AS-D2! Stocked up on a whole bunch of premium blades, but decided to stick with one brand. So I have a bunch of unused blades I was gonna offer up over on Badger & Blade, but thought I’d try the OF fam first.

I have 18 unopened packs of Astras and 2 unopened packs of Feathers. Probably $25 worth, but I won’t be using them so they’re offered up free, I’ll even cover shipping, just don’t like to see things go to waste. DM me if ya want ‘em.

Thanks. Have always just thrown a little witch hazel on, but I’ve been meaning to pick one of these up. I’m lazy and usually only do one with the grain pass, so rarely get cuts, etc.

More so for the straight razors. These are for *safety* razors. Who could one get hurt with something titled so?

They have officially found a new home. Glad they’re going to a fellow OF member!

I have several vintage Gillette razors. My daily go to razor is the feather as d2 using feather blades.

I used to have some vintage Gillettes as well (the Fat Boy!) but once I discovered the Feather AS D2 it’s all I wanna use! That thing is perfection.

Anyone heard of a Rolls Razor? In the image, the blade is at the right end of the case. The case has two removable covers. With the blade in place on the handle and the handle perpendicular tomthe case and the “strop cover” in place, when the handle is moved fro one end of the case to the other, the plade flips over and is stropped. Remove the strop cover and put on the “hone cover” then repeat the process to hone the blade. I have one and only ever tried it once.

I have one that was given to me by my Grandfather. I tried it once, it was quite cumbersome.
I use a single blade safety razor for my regular shaving. best shave I have ever had. After getting it I would never go back to a four blade marketing gimmick/rip off razor.

Ah sad times I missed this. I use Astra.

I converted to DE shaving a couple of years ago and really enjoy it. I've resisted the urge to buy more razors. I have the Merkur 34c and the Merkur travel razor. Although I have backed the Rockwell Model T on crowd funding, but this is delayed by about 2 years (a year for me).

I have a Rolls razor and tried it once, but never could get an edge sharp enough to do a good job.

I've not been brave enough to attempt to shave with a straight razor.

I hear a lot about Feather but haven't gone with one producer yet. One thing's for sure though, I'm never going back to cartridge razors...

My father taught me how to shave with a straight razor when I was young. I still have it, though I usually just use a safety razor now.

I've been using a DE for last few years too. Had a few razors and settled on the merkur futur which is adjustable.

I keep a full beard and use the razor to shave my head every few days. Started off with astra blades and now using Derby. Don't notice too much difference between them.

I've tried to use a shavette but just cant seem to get the knack without mutilating my skin.
