Hi guys

Trying to sort a logo for a knife making venture and need a few things done on a image and converted to a vector file.
Need a metal stamp made and the maker has asked for some stuff I not sure of…

Way out of my depth in doing anything needed.

I have the picture but just need some lines removed from it, and converted.

A laser etcher not an option (instead of a stamp)?

Probably still need the magic vector thing though.

My photoshop skills don’t extend very far so for this one I would do the old school print-scissors-scan method…..

Vector files are good because they can be used at any size and don't pixelate. They re-calculate their shape if you make bigger or smaller e.g. just as clear if on a stamp or on a billboard.

Your picture would need to be re-created in this format if that's what they require for printing. I'm, also happy to help if you need the vector created.

To elaborate, the SVG, for scalable vector graphics, is not a picture but rather instructions to make a picture. Very useful, and usually smaller than a bitmap format.

"We have clearance, Clarence, roger, Roger, what's our vector, Victor?", that's all I can add to this subject.
