One of the nicer vintage Seamasters that I've seen on eBay recently. A 1961 reference 14389 in what appeared to me to be in pristine condition. It looks as though the hands were recently relumed, but other than that, I didn't see much wrong with it. Case is still incredibly sharp (look at the edges on the lugs) and the dial is perfect. Hirsch strap and buckle too. I already have ths reference so had no need for a second one, but I bid on it anyway and lost. Sold for $988 USD. Omega Seamaster w. cross-hair subsidiary seconds. 14389–9 from 1961. Gorgeous! | eBayPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Nice example! If the hands are really relumed, I may have some genuine Radium ones for this watch. But to me, they look original.
Agreed, and honestly, even if they're relumed I wouldn't care. It's not a vintage Speedy where this would indeed make a significant difference in price either... They were very well done and look amazing. The condition is outstanding, they definitely don't come around often in this shape. Enjoy! Really curious to see what you want to sell mate.
