·Thought I’d ask if there are any forum members who are into surfing / bodyboarding? I recently got to try out the ‘expert’ setting on the artificial wave in Bristol. Was pleasantly surprised how much fun it was.

·Bristol? That was a pit stop for us when we used to pop down to Newquay from the big smoke for the weekend. The Rhossili peninsula isn’t far from you and is the only place in the UK that I ever surfed without wearing a wetsuit 😁
I still have my board but haven’t surfed for years, although I now live where there are world class waves only a short drive away 😬

·I grew up surfing in Rhode Island. In my 20s and early 30s I was able to take several surf trips to Costa Rica and Mexico that worked out well. Now I am 41 years old and overweight. I would love to get back to it some day.
