If you are all certified Certinatics you may already know of this site. If not, here you go, I enjoyed it. http://www.vintagecertinas.ch/en/indexeng.html
I have to say I was not that aware of the Certina brand before joining this Forum.... I was watching an old episode of UFO the other night and spotted a watch … turned out to be a Certina and the actor turned out to be George Cole... and the commander of Skydiver turned out to be called Waterman ( a minder link in name only) - this lead me on a number of fun research distractions and then the excellent vintagecertinas.ch website which had all the information and UFO links anyway... great hobby we all share / wish I owned a Certina now... had to include a picture of an exotic control centre lady with her purple anti-static hair control wig... I am a man of a certain age with fond memories of that show...
Anyone know why Certina had a Bristol range of watches? A bit of random name. Also what lume were they using in the late sixties / early seventies?
I just realised I posted this in the wrong thread. Since then I had feedback it is probably Tritium but Certina never used the T mark for some reason.... https://omegaforums.net/threads/who-loves-certinas.72290/page-44#post-2077328
