I've just taken an inexpensive punt on this watch. Apologies for the quality of the picture, more to follow on receipt. Any ideas what I might be looking at here? There was no detail provided at time of sale other than working (subjective I know), hence the minimal outlay 馃憤

No further detail unfortunately, other than it was advertised as a men's Omega slimline watch. I'm more intrigued than anything, it's not going to break the bank if it's a dud.

It could certainly be a men's dress watch, interesting to see.

Was thinking that same, that hands seems smallish, perspective wise. Interesting

You were almost right without realising .
I've now received the watch and after further investigation it does indeed already to be a man's watch..... fitted with a woman's movement.
Explanation needed I know
Apparently this watch is a very slim 111.022 dress watch, fitted with the small cal 620 movement usually found in smaller women's watches.
Opinions vary but it's been suggested that Omega fitted the movement to larger cases to use up excesses stick. This particular piece dates from 1963 and pre dates later models badged De Ville.
Although not popular, I still think it's a lot of watch for the paultry 拢60 outlay.
