It's no Omega Moon watch. https://werenbach.ch ‘building a watch from a space rocket' An interesting concept, and not one I had come across until recently. Wondered if any forums members owned one and had any thoughts on the watch they could share.
I think a lot of kickstarters are doing this. One much publicized company that does this uses old cars. They gave you a certificate that can trace back to the VIN to learn the car's history. While the concept was neat, I felt it was way over priced.
I saw a news item recently which showed some guy purportedly building watches out of old railroad track. All he was doing was (seemingly) making pocket watch cases out of old rails, and fitting them with ETA 6497 movements. http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&2&2uswk&ETA_6497_1
And found https://omegaforums.net/threads/werenbach-watches-made-from-soyuz-scrap-metal.55687/ Thanks for the pointer
