Yes, but… ZELDA!!
I am not a gamer but as mentioned earlier in the thread, my wife is, and I am usually her copilot (spotter) on several games she likes.
But she handed me the controller for Zelda- breathe of the wild, and after I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed playing it. I particularly like the puzzles.

Congratulations to @TheGreekPhysique for starting a thread on the last subject on Earth that still was yet to be covered on OmegaForums 😁
No doubt that there are a few other subjects that we haven't discussed yet, but worry not for we shall flesh them out eventually. 😀

We already have some threads about vintage barbed wire and we received many years ago dirty emails from the antique barbed wire society or one of the other similar clubs after some of our members went and annoyed them

I’ve been a gamer for many years. I was a kid in the 70s, and we’d go to the 7-11 convenience store to play games like Asteroids and Space Invaders. We eventually got a television based system at home called Intelevision. We progressed to Nintendo when I was in college. I’ve owned every variant of the PlayStation since it launched. I currently own a PS5 which I use to play games with my adult sons. The game that has occupied most of my gaming time over the last couple of years is Formula 1. We’re in a Formula 1 ‘22 league now, and I can tell you that once you start getting into sim racing, it’s a deep rabbit hole. You can spend as much money as you’d like. There is always something to buy…

Here’s a pic of my current setup:

Who would have thought they would have sent barbed emails? Perhaps they are a little rusty in having pointed conversations.

once they get off the roll they are on they seem to be pretty straight…

I’m asking Trev to add a dislike button just for puns like that.

Got a SteamDeck a little while back and have been killing time with that. So far I'm pretty pleased with it. Currently waiting for WarZone2.0 to drop next week or the week after (for my PC not the steamdeck)

I too am a gamer, and I have been for many years now.

I play mostly Warzone on a regular basis, however in the past I have been huge fan of the Battlefield franchise. Frankly, I was very sad that they dropped the ball with BF2042..

Was an absolutely huge fan/nerd/player of Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo Lord of Destruction back in the day... retired from my life as a professional musician to stay at home dad so between daily dad duties I would spend a fair bit (too much?) time hacking & slashing my way through Hell for treasures.
These days though, the daughter is now in college, and I try to rekindle the magic by either playing one of those old titles or Diablo II Resurrected or Path Of Exile... it's fun but it seems like my attention span has waned.
I do like the occasional Formula One practice and race (against AI) on our PS4.
I keep thinking "I should really upgrade our PC to play some new, graphics-intensive, games" but when I look at prices for components I end up researching another watch to purchase instead. 🙄

I'm a OG gamer from the Atari 2600/Commodore 64 days. Had a SNES and MagicGame Doctors for the best emulations. 😀 PS2, PS4, now a PS5 ... my son has a Wii, WiiU, Switch ... I am a PC Master Race gamer myself with a shiny new Ryzen 7 7700X and 32GB ddr5-6000 g.skill RAM in a Gigabyte x670E master motherboard cooled by a giant Noctua heatsink, scored an EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Hybrid Gaming last year after 9 months in the queue during the height of the scamdemic but only paid MSRP at the time. Super Win I'd say. It's also my day job as I support Citrix as a federal contractor.

That game isn't a game... it's a career.

Incidentally if anyone wants to hook up for Nintendo online (Mario Kart/Golf, Quake etc) please do ping me a message to exchange 'friend codes' 👍

I've fallen out of love with consoles after building a PC. I still go back for favorites like Uncharted and GTA but mouse precision is just too good.

Having played Overwatch since open beta in 2016, can't say I love OW2. Their microtransaction model is leaving much to be desired, even for a now F2P game. The fact they didn't leave a working version of 1 for the users that paid for those accounts is short-sighted and makes the company look petty and greedy - miss the Blizzard of the early 2000s.

Uncharted is cool. I hope they are going to release a new one for the PS5.

I got into games in the early 80’s with Atari and then it was all downhill from there for my parents when it came to birthdays and Christmas gifts 😁
I never got into computer games, mainly console based games. I even purchased the Atari Jaguar back in ‘94. I found it in my parents house with everything for it and sold it on eBay a couple years ago to some collector, made a profit or at least broke even compared to the price I had paid 20 years earlier. I did the whole Nintendo, Sega, Sony PS and even Xbox. I’ve stuck with PS the longest. I haven’t turned on my PS4 in a few months. I still love video games and always will.
I will say this though about the Call of Duty (CoD) series like modern warfare, they truly are amazing games you can sucked into but playing online against teen and pre teen kids really tests your patience 🤬 I found the best time to play online is during school hours Monday-Friday, less chance of getting your @$$ handed to you by a 14 year old trash talking you

I am a pre-gamer. 😁

I attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor from 1975-77, and spent a lot of time playing pinball. My favorite game was El Dorado, made by Gottlieb. Good memories, and, perhaps ironically, I have played virtually no video games. The physical interaction with good pinball machines was one of the attractions.

Would be nice but they’ve said on a number of occasions that 4 is the last game of the franchise. I think they wrapped up the story and it’s time for a new IP.

Back then, pretty much any corner/local convenience store, laundromat, etc, all had video games in the corner.
