    I don't think its that bad, the case is very decent, crown is original, bezel is original dot over 90 and in decent shape, hands may have lost their lume but they're probably original too. I'd take that one over a polished up example with a replacement bezel and hands any day, though I'm not sure I'd have gone 4K on it either

    The rare ref. is another reason.
    The case shows wear and scuffs and the face shows aging but it's original. A barn find if i may.
    Who would expect to see a 105.012-66 CB (Central Boite, rare one type case ref.) for any less when a c.1861 Moonwatch would sell easily for $2500-$3000 ?
    This one went at least fair not to say cheap.
    Buyer should have reasons to be happy.

    I have failed to follow my own advice when it comes to these:
    1) Determine value;
    2) Adjust by 25%;
    3) Repeat;
    4) Prepare to be outbid

    Mind you, I still have no watch cash, so this auction was for tracking purposes anyway.

    You know what - I think this was fairly reasonable for the watch. Original pushers too.
