Any chance this Speedmaster is from 1986?

Hi everyone, I've been on the hunt for a decent Speedmaster from 1986. I would have typically looked for the long S/R dial, but then came across this version, which according to the seller, is from 1986 and fully original. I won the auction at a good price, but forgot to check the bezel and then noted that it was from the later versions (dot below 70, dot next to 90, accent over e).
I have an option to cancel the auction, but before I do so, still wanted to check if there aren't exceptions to the rule, and the seller could be right.

Ask him for the serial number and use it on www.ilovemyspeedmaster.com

I don't think that is any earlier than 1988, since that is when the 3590.50 was introduced according to the Speedmaster bible, Speedmaster Only. Prior to that, (and in 1986) the model was known simply as the 145.0022.

Yes, forgot to mention that- I always check serial numbers but given the nature of the site, I could not do that before submitting the bid. I was anticipating that the serial could even be correct, but that I would still end up with a watch with a later bezel.
