    Double stamped?

    Then it must be genuine!

But I'll bet if you show a pic of the movement it will simply confirm the reason that the "18K gold" case back is missing.

Maybe nicked by an Uncle to be melted down?

Real in the sense of existing - I'll go for a yes.

    Genuine?
    Original?
    Authentic?

No answer without more information, like better quality pictures including the movement.

Maybe the OF members would be more inclined to assist if you were just a little more polite in your request? Any chance this guy is) (for) real, is exactly what many of us will be thinking right now.

My local supermarket used to have a sign in the express isle that said, "12 items or less." At the Whole Foods across the street, it says, "12 items or fewer." There is apparently a relatively high price for hiring pedants that gets tacked on to the produce...

Not necessarily. Caseback and movement shots will confirm one way or the other.

Except there's no caseback, per the OP, and the movement is double stamped. We may never know what it is.

Exactly. I was responding to a fake confirmation. You can't tell from the data presented.

Obviously. But due to the dial style I think that inside we find AS1130 movement!
