New vintage Seamaster 30 owner - any chance of locating a gasket for 135.003-62 SC. Understand they are tough to come by in yellow. Is there a replacement part number that would work? Thanks

Just about any generic caseback gasket of the right diameter should work. Any particular reason it needs to be yellow? Or are you talking about something else?

I believe the original gasket on this case was yellow.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but who cares? You can't see it anyways.

But good luck in your search!

I don’t really care that much either - the replacements option does not show up in any search, so more curios to learn if they are still available.

I'm not sure of the context of this question, but the OP should be aware that simply replacing a case-back gasket will not make the watch water resistant.

This may be taking concerns about "originality" a bit too far. And some OF members may find it ironic that I am the one writing this.

Learning and wondering - appreciate the feedback. I realize originality has limits and it sounds like this may be one of them.

I was nearly burned at the stake for saying this about the yellow gaskets a number of years ago...tread lightly my friend...

Haha, I was really just expecting a “yes”, “no”, “use this part” to figure out what options were out there.... a stake burning or committing an Omega atrocity was not on my list. Appreciate the insight that was shared. Be Well!
