anyone in the know got some tips about brands on the up? What do we think about Nomos? Bremont?

I have a Tangente 35mm limited, i have a rather small wrist, but i love it.
I think dont be afraid to check out smaller watches, not just bulky big ones.
They make great in house movements, and if you like bauhaus style you will live them.

 

I heard Invicta's doing great, but keep it on the down-low.

 

I’m gonna say buy what you like, but let the first person that bought it take the depreciation hit.

I’m sorry but are you serious with this comment? I’m asking because I always disliked Invicta due to the MSRP and actual sale price. I’ve also read bad reviews and I see them get knocked on several other watch discussion sites but in all honesty I have never owned one so perhaps I am having contempt prior to investigation.

That is you can get a giant heavy (god awful looking) watch for the least amount of money.
