    If the Lot.315 is a AA I don't want to see what's worse.::facepalm1::

This would probably be my pick (not that I care for AS, more in terms of condition I like...don't know all the ins and outs, but this looks good to my untrained AS eye) :

Would need to see the caseback and the etched numbering on it. Strange how the left this angle out from their general pictures.

Hmmm.... Wait a second. Is there another Soyuz on auction right now, or have these pictures been added later? Please observe an important thing, the bracelet is NOT a Soyuz, it’s the 18mm version.

EDIT, Just checked, there’s another one for sale, i think it’s on Christie’s or Sotheby’s. And in their lot description the caseback picture is missing. Theirs is not in such a nice condition, but with the correct bracelet.

    Regarding the Mil SM300:
good news: it's in the same condition as previously sold at the bay in 2015.
bad news: the movement (+ dial + hands) actually does not fit to a 0552 Royal Navy but instead to a W10 British Army. Very likely it had been swapped during a MoD service.

Well spotted. The lot description states it is on a 1168 bracelet. It would be interesting to see a photo of the back of the clasp to confirm that. Just wondering whether it is a 1168 that has had its sides machined down. The outside edges of the wide central links line up with the 2 grooves on the top of the 633 end links. Finding a correct 1168 would be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Most likely it’s a 1168 18mm from a 70’ies Seamaster. I have one myself, these are not as rare as the Soyuz 20mm. So not machined down but just the wrong bracelet for this reference.

    I see. So there are two bracelets called 1168: 18 & 20mm.

Hmm... beside the AS it seems the auction results aren't that good overall, or? Some examples, prices in CHF:

    Apollo-Soyuz 75,000
    105.002 18,750
    135.004 PAF 13,750
    2914 10,000
    145.022 4,000 + 7,500 + 8,125
    348.0802 80ies Apollo XI Gold 23,750
    105.012 8,125 + 12,500 + not sold?
    105.003 not sold?
    Mil SM300 not sold?
    2998 not sold?
    2915 not sold?

    Any thoughts?

Not much went crazy — only a few exceptional pieces went through the roof. Questionable pieces, of which there were more than a few, went for the low end of estimates or were left on the table. I thought there were a couple of bargains.

Sorry I didn’t bid on this. Always wanted one of those limited edition chronometer Speedmasters. And this seems quite inexpensive for a gold Speedmaster with gold bracelet (albeit a later one).

And, although I didn’t bid on it, I seriously fell in love with this:

I don’t know enough to know if this was a bargain, but I thought the dial was exceptional, even if the case was polished.

the dial really caught my eye and the estimate price so I was watching since I'm in the market for a gold dress watch but 3k seems high to me. The cross hair with the 'waffle' dial is interesting

The auction is over, why don't you check the results if you're so curious? ::rimshot::
