Antique Omega Pie Pan Türler Constellation

Hello Enthusiasts and Experts,

I have inherited an Omega Constellation, which I see has Türler branding, from my deceased father. He put a gold bracelet band on it and aquired it in the early 1960's. I took it to a local Omega shop who quoted me $900 to service/refurbish it. Honestly, I don't plan on wearing it and would like to see what it might be worth on the open market. I don't have any paperwork for it.

Here are some photos. Please let me know what other information might be helpful in evaluating this timepiece. The phone camera really emphasized the scratches on the crystal, but they're not really that visible.

Thanks,
Marco in Burien, WA

This looks like a Constellation reference 168.004 in gold cap with a Turler signed pie pan dial. I'd check eBay for recent comps of the same reference to get an idea of value. If you're selling then it won't be worth servicing ahead of time, just make sure you take some better photos to showcase the watch (especially the dial condition).

Note: I'm ignoring the bracelet which appears aftermarket and unsigned. If it is gold, then you'd have additional value in the metal.

Watch itself is worth around $1000 - net amount will be lower

With the gold prices I'd melt the generic bracelet unless it has sentimental value and keep the head of the watch
