Actually this one has been in the house waiting for me, been wanting one of these for years but whenever the right one came along I was never in the position to buy. With a Birthday coming up and discovering that Keith Tilley was clearing some of his electronics I fired him an email to see what he had, there was this poorly soul non running and looking a little sad for itself. For those that know Keith T is one of the respected electronic watch wizards here in the UK so it didn't take him long to service it and bring it back to life, along with a new crystal and English day wheel.

I'm thrilled with the result, there is the usual blistering which is the case with most of these black dial varients, but nothing that distracts to my eyes. It has my preferred dial configuration with the applied Omega at 12 and logo at the higher dial position, the tritium lume on teh markers and hands has aged to a beautiful creamy colour which is the icing on the cake for me. You can't really make out from the photos but the original graining is still very much present, although some scuffs tend to make it appear it has been brushed the other way, might get it refinished later on but not bothered about it for now.

I don't think the bracelet it an Omega one as comfortable as it is, although it does have an Omega buckle which is a nice touch. This time of year I'm not keen on bracelets so that is off and a cheap and cheerful leather on, decided to notch out a 20mm rather than fit an 18mm which to me looks a little narrow for the watch.

Anyway hope some of you like it, I certainly do and the wait has paid off. Another classic 70's hummer for the collection
