    Bwahahahaaa..... ::facepalm1::

    Here’s something really really rare, a watch that was sold before it was produced.

    What will the premium for this exclusivity be? ::rimshot::

    Jeeez what a hatchet job, looks like he used tippex too. Must be strangely proud of his work though, half the pictures are of the paperwork... ::facepalm2::

    Brilliant.
    (Brilliantly bad, obvio)

    145.022-69SW !!

    I don’t know any papers that specified “SW”

    This abbreviation only came into use around the time of publication of MWO.

    And also I rarely see the reference written with the date suffix. In fact often we see the model missed out or a catalog number instead.

    The real shame is that a nice set of papers - whether open and unmarked, or previously filled out for some other watch - were ruined.

    This is what I noticed off the bat, thanks to @Spacefruit and the authors of MWO. Right there is massive flags which should show this piece needs massive knowledgeable inspection.

    Yes. They also had terrific LSD, from all accounts. I reckon the seller may have overdone it on the pink microdot.*

    *I learned the name from a friend.:D

    I always wondered why people would buy papers with a specific serial number on eBay. I guess the answer is white-out.

    LOL, the white out is amazing. How much of it did he sniff before thinking he could pull this off? :eek:

    The morons probably saw either caseback photographs, a warranty card, or literature referencing the 145.012-67 SP, and from there made the leap to "SW".
