Since we are discussing 2998s, I recently managed to source this 2998-6. Except for one, easy to fix, issue it is all correct with a very nice dial and matching triangluar lume hand set. Will post nicer photos when the bezel is improved.
It is a -62. Received wisdom, from "The Danish Site" is that -4's had the lollipop. I've seen them on all 2998's now, as well as on a 2915. It's in the "wouldn't kick out of bed" category for me. So I am happy to have it. Since I am a UBG. (Ugly but Grateful)
Lovely watch, as usual. Based on the recent speedmaster101 write up, are those service hands? Sharp cut lume slots?
Imagine another Speedmaster thread....without any "wrong hands" "wrong bezel" "mismatched serial number" "over polished" comments/posts...
Beautiful! May I ask where you had it serviced? Type of.service? Price? Turnaround time? My 145.022 should go in for preventative TLC. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
