··Bill @ ΩFHello everyone …
For those of you who don’t know me … I am a long time vintage Omega collector since the 1980s …
People ask me how do you find such great watches and marine clocks. One of the best kept secrets is the National Association of WATCH & CLOCK Collectors, Inc. ( NAWCC)..
One of the first things I did back in the 1980s was the join the NAWCC ….. At the time I was in my early 20s and met some advanced collectors who mentored me Like Pierre Hatem, Kathy Prichard and Bill Prichard … They have past some of their knowledge on …. The reason why the NAWCC IS SO GREAT it a fantastic resource!
Gathering of advanced collectors ( most have been members for many decades ) and it’s great to join as a new collector and you find your own mentors to give a guiding force. … almost like a big brother program but in this case a “Big collector “ program !
I am posting this in response to the Breitling's together event yesterday in NYC ….
I pointed out a killer watch that was purchased at the York NAWCC NATIONAL CONVENTION !
Will include it here again and a few Omega watches that I picked up over the years.
The NAWCC is a great resource between it own forums on their website to the on line searchable library and a huge lending library as well .. there is much more like a museum ….
I still think it’s one of the best kept secrets….. I always see vintage dealers buy at the local , regional and national MARTS …. They should not have all the fun !
You're invited !
Google : National Association of WATCH & CLOCK Collectors .
And we also have a official National Association of Watch & Clocks Collectors face book group too ..
