Stopped by an AD today to check out Vacheron Constantin. Sells other top brands like JLC, IWC, and Franck Muller. Also is/was an AD of Omega but no longer. A sign outside the store displaying 30% off all Omegas. I asked the store clerk what happened and she said making room for another brand. I asked her what brand and she said not decided yet. I know this store discounts aggressively on all their watches so you think they lost the right or Omega just not a good seller for them? Clearly expessing willingness to discount even more so was very tempted to grab a FOIS.

That's better than grey market discount. I'd go for it if I had been contemplating getting one. Won't get a brand new one cheaper than that.

Want to share their name? 30% or better off list could be highly motivating for a plane ride. :)

Was just going to ask this, I'd take a little jaunt for a 30% discount on a 300master co-ax.

I believe it's local to you, @tpatta. just a word of warning: the store is... hmmm... how do I say this delicately... "insulated"?
not sure how good their stock is but she seemed to imply more in the safe and mentioned a limited edition or two. I would say had about 30 Omegas on display, ranging from orange Seamaster, ATs, FOIS, various speedys (of course), and DeVilles. yes, there was a 300 master co-ax-- she tried to push it on me.

How much are they asking for the 300?

I did not spend the time negotiating that specific piece but discussed in general. I believe 30% off+ no tax is achievable.

The end of Last year OKC lost its Omega dealer, I think I'd have to go to Dallas or Tulsa now to visit one.

if they are open to discounting, they could have been caught "grey" dealing watches. You not supposed to discount off of MSRP.

Not unheard-of to get your line pulled because of such thing.

Well the only thing that caught my eye was the SM300 liquid metal on a brown strap. 4550 dollars. I passed.
