there are a few puzzling details. obvious all hands are wrong. but the main feature of the PAF issued Railmasters is missing here....who knows, what is missing an has anybody seen one in the past without the missing detail ? kind regards. achim http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251343690150&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:AU:1123
I can't see the PAF marking on the case back. I thought these should also have the serial number outside on the back. IMO, without the extract of records this is just a civilian watch until proven otherwise. My 2c
one more hint........you can not fake the PAF railmaster caseback. unless you shave every engraving and pretend, the military did it... kind regards. achim
the main issue with this one is the nature of the PAF deliveries: like the preuvian pilots requested something different to the rail service on their dial ( flightmaster front and back), the PAF pilots had the same problem. but they were o.k. with seamaster ( as long as it had nothing to do with Rail....). and seamaster it is on the thick AMAG dial with the luminous wells and the back ( inside with the correct railmaster model references; they actually did go with the next model generation as well...) outside is engraved with seamaster over the horse and the mvmt. number in an arc below as well. so, this one here has only P.A.F. on the movement. that could have come from an early dress model and the archive would show delivery to pakistan. but the model number is crucial here. therefore: not convinced, that this railmaster is a military model. here is a correct outside case back......... kind regards. achim
Hi achim , is this 2914 or 135.004? This case back in my opinion came only with 135.004 PAF railmasters.
yes, mine is a 135... example. confirmed by the factory. any dial pics. from your PAF? kind regards. achim
This is 2914-5 with PAF markings on the movement . The 135 did not have PAF marking on the movement , if I am not wrong......
