Apologies if this already posted, but I came across this Ed White with an interesting dial on the 'bay. Besides the replacement hands, the one thing that really stuck out was the dial was a non-professional, domed and non-stepped. There's also the applied logo. I'm on page 273 of Moonwatch Only and it doesn't show anything like this!

So the question is this dial a service creation by Omega or a Frankenstein? That is, the effort was taken to remove the "Professional" from a domed dial then a logo applied?

I'm but a novice in this but from what I can see the dial is all wrong - no marking by the "Swiss Made" would indicate that you're right, it's been made up with a later dial.

Could it be from one of the new ones like the FOIS or the 3594.50? Don't know, just a guess.

I asked if he had original dial. He said no. It was originally listed at $9500. Now $7500. What really is value given all the replacement parts?

I guess it's worth what someone will pay for it, but referencing S.F.'s price chart as a starting point, it looks to be worth somewhere between $4400-$6000.

    Thanks for the education!

At least the seller was honest about the dial. I guess the issue at this point is sourcing the correct one...
