Yeah, people have come out to the woodwork! When I posted on IG for the first time, within minutes I got two text messages from friends asking whether or not I was selling it...and others on this forum have sent very nice PMs.

While I don't want to squash any hopes, I am pretty sure it has a permanent place in my core collection for the foreseeable future.

Yep they sure are, so interesting how the bezels had so many variations.

I know what you mean about a permanent place.

It looks lovely. To be fair I do not know anything about your watch mode,l other than it is an iconic classic. I know more about basic vintage say Geneve and Seamaster from 60's. More experienced members can comment on its merits.
