dial looks modern to me . correct?

I'd move on that if the price is good. It looks like only the hour and minute hands are service. Subdials look like the skinny ones but could be wrong.

Saw that one on the 'bay this morning. Also has replacement hands, and (from what I recall of the listing) a replacement crown.

I'm not sure of ebay policy, but if you're unhappy with what's come to light about this example, you might want to contact seller and see if you can squirm out of the deal....
