This is a bit of a grail for me! The scrap on it is £4589 sterling on todays rate, the issue is there is not HD image of the dial (could be badly cracked) and there is stretch in the bracelet which is pretty much irreparable unless you spend a small fortune! Non the less I have contacted the seller with an offer, which when my wife finds out is going to land me in a whole world of bother as we have just bought a new house and I am supposed to be selling not buying, especially not buying thousands of pounds worth of gold bling!

I think it was said by the late, great George Best (ex Man United) and playboy

Stretch in the bracelet or scratch?
If it's stretch, where? You're the maven on these, I can't see it.

The interlinks on these are 18K gold, I have seen enough NOS 18K Megaquartz 32Khz (very few made) and even a NOS 18K Time Computer to know that whilst this BCT is very good it is not perfect. A super tight bracelet has no 'light' between the links! Many of you will laugh but trust me when you are spending £5000+ this will niggle you, the down side is that the interlinks at 18K gold and you cannot change the spring bars without destroying the links. Granted that the stretch is very minimal but these really need to be in perfect condition and this bracelet is not, although it is very good!

    Cheers Tom

Total production of less that 50, there is one on display at Bienne which is on loan from a close friend of mine who owns another one, extremely rare although they do very occasionally appear for sale, short of the ones owned by my friend the only other one I know of in private hands is owned by a prolific collector of LED in Ibiza

Total gold weight of case and BCT 108G, value in terms of rarity priceless! I know of a total of six remaining in existence, two by my friend, one in Ibiza, one in Japan (pictured) and two that have gone through ebay in the last five years

Here are the original factory tech sheets on the 18K Time Computer

How come people so cruel to such beauty......... I know the condition is a little less perfect but still???..... why they didn't try auction houses like Antiquorum before giving up?.........what the hell ......many craps sell in AQ for more than this.
