Hello again! HELP ME FIND (is this permitted)? Or at least help me find similar movements that I can search to try and find the look. Hopefully this will be my last thread on this matter, and future ones will be on building my collection.

Repeat from previous threads: My wife is "surprising" me with a wonderful 5th anniversary gift of a vintage Omega Seamaster. This is our first foray into what we would consider a more serious watch, and want to make sure we do well. This is my fifth thread on the matter, and wanted to gather your assistance.

____________________________________________________________________

We've searched to the best of our ability on sites that have been suggested, and elsewhere across the internet, and we keep coming back to one of the previous watches. From what I've been able to gather it seems we are looking for ideally is a "pre-Seamaster 30" manual 30mm movement. It's not so much about the particular movement but the look of this particular watch. The MAIN concern that has thus prevented us from purchasing the one below is that it has initials and date engraved on the case back (shown in the images below).

For this piece we are searching for:
-Case: Stainless WITH Seahorse caseback
-Markings: Gold non-numeric (full-gold "bars" or rectangles...not sure of the nomenclature, with no color on top of the markings)
-Hands: Dauphine
Other specifics:
-We like the simplicity of NOT having the "30" under Seamaster as the Seamaster 30 has.
-Leaning non-calendar, but this is not a deal breaker. If a calendar version, we prefer the simplicity of not having the "Calendar" under Seamaster (also not a deal breaker).
-Indifferent on manual vs automatic, but would probably prefer automatic if there's a calendar function.

With that list, I've spent tremendous time trying to narrow down the various models and have thus far been able to determine the following that seem to fit the general bill:
Best options: 2938/14390 (manual "pre-Seamaster 30" from what I've gathered)
Next best options: 2975/14729/2921

For those that are more familiar with the variations and models, any ideas/recommendations on other similar models or where else I may find a watch in similar or better condition without spoilers is greatly appreciated.

Essentially, we want this one or something very similar without previous owner engravings:
2938 - The one we have preferred the most:

2975 Image Example - We would also like something like this with gold markings (automatic version):

Another similar model from what I've been able to find:

i wouldn't be bothered by an previous engraving, for me that just tells another chapter in the story. part of the allure of vintage watches vs new. YMMV
