Once upon a time, OF purists mocked me because I thought the word "calatrava" was a convenient moniker for a certain style of Longines watches. They pointed out that it was a way for sellers' to hype up their wares.

Well... someone has found another way to proceed... how about trying to sell a watch for 3 times its value:

And I'd like to find a Longines Kermit...
PS -edit /add, if MeganFox were still around she'd whip one up so quick for me.

Actually, I have a relative nasty sei tacchi that’s turning a bit green. Perhaps I should stick it on eBay!

And yes... Megan was a bit of a nut, she’d like this thread

Here ya go @Syrte:

Fox, schmox.... although I'm sure she looks MUCH better in a naval officer's hat & bra than I do.

Maybe he's advertising to people looking for a Longines sei tacche; thus an explorer? Then again, why am I giving this guy the benefit of the doubt?!

Aw, most grateful but I would prefer if some green had been added the Nautilus or the Legend Diver ... after all this is the Longines forum.
Maybe they should do a 36 mm green Nautilus...

Haha, too funny, I didn't even know I had a "sei tacche explorer" until I read this. Very creative! Mine has a little more patina and is not automatic, but I think it is charming nonetheless:

seller did forget to mention it is a rare "big crown" model and a very early one "without pointed crown guards"...
by the way interesting radium shadow on the dial similar to the watch recently auctioned at Phillips...
