Just finished this book and since there may be a few space nuts on here (or any recent retirees), I just want to give this a recommendation if you haven't read it already. Hope this doesn't break any forum rules but if I did, feel free to delete.

Read this on the plane from LA to Australia laughed lots ( client booked tickets late and ended up first class so got a few looks from the suits in business class)

Kind of like Fear and Loathing on a small pacific island with scary natives all twisted on kava who happen to worship Prince Philip. Also a laugh-out-loud book!

 

kava will make you do insane things....

On another note, "The Martian" is required summer reading for all the students and faculty at the school where I teach. Good to know it's recommended by someone who read it for fun!
