Thanks for archiving this curious collection of watches Mark. Given that it seems like about 80% of these surface through Swedish auction sites, it's reasonable to assume that a majority were sold there, but has any information surfaced on the origin of the shield on the dial yet? Would this design trait for example be something a Swedish dealer would order directly from the dial maker for his store? 😵‍💫

Good question. My guesstimate is that somebody at the Swedish agent liked them and ordered them at the factory

No I did not. But a large proportion seems to be from Sweden

I got a cute on in a large lot. Nice dial with little damage. Bought from Norway - but might have originated in Sweden. ref 25132. Logo at 6 o'clock is probably because it is so tiny, but pretty cool.
