The watch looks good to me, but others know far more about the Officer line than I do. Best bet is to try to find an exact twin somewhere else on eBay or the forums.

    Good luck,

Looks good but the problem is the small size - if you can live with that then it is not a bad example.

Nice looking watch and cool dial  , but I could not live with a 31mm on my wrist :D

Beauty, but 31mm is below wearable for me.

There is a user over at the Purists, tdn.dk, who has posted a collection of these. In addition, Mr Google is useful. To me it looks as if most officers of this dial configuration have a black seconds subdial - I speak as a casual investigator, not an expert

Thanks for your thoughts guys. Now you really set me thinking if I can pull of a 31mm. Perhaps it may be a little too small to wear. Or perhaps I can pass it on to my son when he is a little bit older and if he ever ask for a watch of his own. But I believe this is what the wife will do to me.:whipped::D

Hi LouS, I have to confess it was his old posts on the Officers which got me interested in this line. And I have to say, these forums are all too dangerous to the wallet.

The beautiful thing about rationalizations is that they ALWAYS work! Trust me, I know - I've built my collection on them.

Some of the coolest dials (and hands) were on the earlier and smaller watches.
