An Issue with Bezel on my new SMP 300 White Dial

Total newbie here so I hate start off on a negative note. Just bought an brand new SMP 300m white dial. Love it except the bezel seems to be off. By that I mean the triangle doesn’t line up perfectly at the 12:00 position and the 30 doesn’t line up exactly with the 6:00 position. Both are off by just a hair. It’s not overtly noticeable but I went over the watch with a fine tooth comb when it arrived and I noticed it. Thoughts? Should I take it in for servicing under the warranty? Am I being too picky?

It's a brand new watch from a quality brand, so I don't think it's being too picky.

Show us a photo of the watch so we can clearly see the issue, then we'll decide on your level of pickiness.

You should go back to the AD and request for an exchange, if they refused, and you don't mind the wait, send it to Omega Service Centre, they will fix for you. But do ask for extended warranty as it may take a few months to get your watch back.

Finally got around to posting a pic. Notice how the triangle is to the right of the 12:00 position on the dial. When I rotate the bezel one click the triangle lands on the left side of the 12:00 position. The same with the bezel at the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 minute marks. It's actually more pronounced in person than what the pic shows. I talked to someone at the Omega Boutique and they said to bring it in for a look but told me Omega might not cover it under the warranty because it's a "cosmetic" issue. That doesn't sound right to me but I'm going to bring it in and have the tech look at it. Would appreciate any thoughts or advice.

That would drive me crazy. Unfortunately, very common on the 2018+ SMP Diver line (including a slew of other QC issues dotted here and there).

I’d demand an exchange.

And this is not a “cosmetic” issue. That’s nonsense. BTW mine lines up perfectly. So you’re not asking for anything too crazy.

I'd hope they'd exchange the bezel, looks like a manufacturing defect.
