I have various views of 2 different Ed White, Speedmaster 105.003-65 watches, each nicely appointed with 7912 bracelets and #6 end links. There is an obvious difference on the front and back of each watch.

Ed White One has an incorrect flat chrono hand. The same watch has a scratch on the caseback.

Ed White Two has a correct spear chrono hand and a more pristine, although faded, caseback.

Thus it is easy to tell them apart for identification purposes regarding an answer to this quiz.

The question is, which part(s), of one or both of these watches and/or bracelets, is GROSSLY INCORRECT.

Guessing is not allowed. All answers must be be backed up with details.

    Good luck class.

Could it be that Ed2 has a 105.002 crown while the Ed1 has the correct 105.003 crown?

No. Sorry I didn't take any closeup crown pics but the Crowns are not related to the correct answer

Ed2 [dial facing up] shows a large gap on the top left where the bracelet connects to the top left lug.

If your answer is that there is an issue with the Ed2 lug or end link; that is incorrect.

That hand is a little whiter but it is not GROSSLY INCORRECT.

The ED2 bracelet has underside seams visible on all the links as well as "No13" stamped on the underside of the buckle...the ED1 bracelet has underside seams visible on some links and no "No13" stamped on the underside of the buckle. The bracelets are different...which one is grossly incorrect I have no idea...heck, they are probably both correct.

I don't think the viewer count (currently 121) rises if a member views the thread multiple times.

I believe both 7192 bracelets are correct.

The digits on the sub-dials are different sizes between ED1 and ED2...ED1's sub-dial digits are slightly larger than the digits on ED2.

Also, some of the tachymetre numbers of the bezel insert are somewhat obscured by the bezel crimping on ED2...that does not appear correct.

I'm not an expert nor do I have any evidence, but the second hands look different between the two, as far as the position and size of the accent point on it? #2 looks to be much more authentic from what I can compare to other sources...

Noob here, so pardon the terminology, but the pushers appear quite different on the two watches. The preponderance of google images suggest #1 (left in first picture) is genuine.
