An example of an excellent dealer listing

Saw this 145.022-68 pop up today, has some wear but at $6k on a 1039 bracelet, seemed like a great buy! But as I read the dealer's description I realized it's probably priced right - and came away with quite a bit of respect for these guys. Well-researched, all 'flaws' pointed out (mostly just areas a buyer might have concern about) and just overall, gives an excellent picture of the watch on offer. Love seeing quality work like this and I feel it's worth being recognized!

It is very refreshing when you see a dealer listing like this. It's a reminder that there are some very knowlegeable, fair minded and ethical dealers out there. I realize that dealers have to make a living, so I don't begrudge them charging more than I might pay to a private seller for the same watch. What I expect in return for that price premium is for them to do their job, evaluate the watch properly, and make accurate disclosures about its condition as they should. One dealer that I always recommend without hesitation is James Kibble at Kibble Watches in London. He's as honest as the day is long and knows his subject. I've purchased two watches from him including my Ranchero and have been very satisfied. On the local front in the US, I also recommend our very own TheGreekPhysique ("Niko") who runs a shop based in Pennsylvania. I've purchased several watches from him too with absolutely no complaints. Good guy to deal with.

I’ve bought a Speedy Pro from Adam at Belmont Watches - have to agree it was a good experience - very reasonably priced and accurately described. No unexpected surprises!!
