I couldn't believe my eyes when I came across this amazing new limited edition Speedy advertised earlier today! I think it's called 'Deep Black Hole' or similar.

Limited to 54 pieces to commemorate the distance, in millions, of light years away...

Reminds me more of the LOTR Eye of Sauron Edition.

I think I heard this was limited to 6 billion pieces, the size of the black hole in solar masses.

Fake news!!! It’s supposed to be “Deep Black Hole of the Moon” ceramic watch!

And supposed to be limited to 6 billion pieces as Corn18 indicated, but it is unknown how many actually got swallowed by the Gray Market Hole. Kinda like the Rolex ceramic Daytona and GMT.

You have to admit it was pretty cool that they were able to "photograph" the black hole to begin with! That being said, why not make another LE Omega?!? Perhaps the back of the watch is straight black!

I heard it's final sale. Once you put your money in for it you can't get your money back of it.

Yes it was. As recalled in the well-known 1997 documentary 'Event Horizon' starring Laurence Fishburne.

What gets me is how quick Omega were to produce this model once the photograph was released. Amazing really.

The 'black hole' bit is referenced in terms of finance, I'm told.

Shouldn’t the small seconds hand spin around faster and faster until it disappears into the watch, maybe followed by a large white flash?
