to be a real collector you need to get a speedmaster. You know...the moon watch...the watch that goes to the moon!! look it up.

It is the doom of the advanced collector with a disposable income to eventually acquire a good example of everything he/she desires. There is then nothing to strive for, and the collector becomes an owner. ::stirthepot::

Life surely is too short for that to ever happen? Too many nice watches (/cars/boats/<Fill In Here>) for that... 😗

Those are interesting distinctions.
Could you kindly enlighten a newbie as to what the "collector" element adds to the equation vs. "accumulator"?
Are you implying the collector is a bit more discerning than the other characters?

The collector walks the rice paper without tearing it.

Hoarder... or collector, you still have game when you can post pics like that.

I think you have a speedy from each decade, except 1980s and 2010s. 😀

Well, judging by your pictures you aren't a "Collector". I'd say you are more of a "Private Museum Curator".

There's always an other watch to get out there. Project Alaska? SM300's in all variations?

Your collection is incomplete until you fill up that one last spot.

With a collection like that.....definitely...unless you just found them all, or were given them in one lump...then you're just lucky.... maybe you're a hoarder? and don't really like watches? but have a load lying about anyway? Have you been collecting bags of clothes and not throwing any rubbish away? if not, then I reckon you are really a collector!...and yes, I agree with theses other people, for our OCD has kicked in, and gaps like that need to be filled... love the 'collection' by the way...enviable indeed
