So I was looking at the different Speedmaster Moonwatches and different LE versions. One really stood out as being an odd fit among the others. It was the Last Man on the Moon celebrating Apollo 17. I understand they copied the mission patch but I would say it's a little off compared to many of the other Moonwatches.
".....Silver Sky Man who cannot be named with big nose and large goitre from many moons ago who whispers time with ghost hands but cannot be spoken of......."
Just out of curiosity does anyone know if the posts on the movement on this version are the same as a normal Soeedy.
Yeah that chin and neck is just wrong. But that is only part of it. I have to wonder if they had an in-house submit your design, picked a hand full and then people voted on it.
Hey @Pakiwi Did you know that @JimLnOz has a Prometheus Ocean Divers with a similar design ? Here I'll show you
I came across one for purchase 1-2 months ago for $2300. I offered up $1800, but denied. I was going to use it as a donor watch. This one has a sapphire crystal, so hence my $1800 offer.
Interesting picture, shows the writing to be on the glass versus the dial, i.e., the overlap on the hands... Am I missing something here?!
