    Hi
Is this a crazy thing to do? There is a watch on the Bay where I put in an offer, which was rejected, but the seller counter-offered by a direct message, and we've agreed a price, but he wants to do it outside eBay? The seller has 100% positive feedback, with lots of sales....
    Daniel

EDIT: I'm taking the risk, pls don't say I'm an idiot just yet!

I've done that a lot of times. There's always an element of risk, but if he's a regular seller with perfect feedback its likely he's more interested in business than ripping people off. You could get him to send you a paypal invoice detailing the item, that still gives you some protection through paypal and your credit card company (use a credit card to pay if you can.)

I used the eBay title, complete with a link, in the product description field, so there can be no doubt what it is for. Cross fingers!

Yeah, that's good. It'll be fine.

Ditto. Is a technique that will increase the Seller's bottom line.
