Oh boy , what a beauty. ALS finishing, (a)symmetry and layout is extraordinarily beautiful.

Congratulations on acquiring a gorgeous horological masterpiece.

I always thought Pateks were beautifully finished until I bought my first ALS.
Across the board, they're simply stunning. Wear in good health.

It is a great shot, and it is of my watch but I didn't take it. The fellow I purchased it from took those pictures. My smart phone is no where good enough to take that quality of picture.

Congratulations on that beauty. Wear it in good health!

No intention to rain on your parade and not that anyone asked...

However, I find it very difficult to justify the price on the ALS compared to GO. Today's ALS is a resurrected brand that-aside from Lange's initial presence-is a shadow of it former self and thus AFAIK essentially a relatively new German watchmaking company much like GO was after German reunification. ALS's movement finishing is supposedly superior to GO's but is it commensurate with ALS's MSRP? I don't see Patek-level heritage here to justify their price.

wow, that's a lot of unintentional rain. I'd take this one over the GO any day and twice on Sundays. As a matter of fact, I did, but I bought used.

OP, congrats, that is a fine time piece. My old one says hi:

I don’t see how the quality or aesthetics is superior to this German beauty for a fraction of the price. Again premium for a resurrected namesake and somewhat better movement finishing it seems.::stirthepot::

The hand engraving on the balance cock, perlage on the base plate, gold chatons etc.........simply beautiful. And they produce what?.....approx. 5,000-6,000 timepieces a year? Worth the price imo

Yes. Auf=up (full power) and Ab=down (empty)
