Next year, I wish they could come up with a panda/reverse-panda version like the speedy Tuesday 1 or 35th Apollo 11 + new hesalite-like sapphire crystal. Already drooling while typing this…

I bought two of them, white dial and the FOIS. Plus a hesalite. I like the pilot, but I need to wait a bit for it.

That would be nice, but Omega seems to hold the panda dials for special editions, or precious metal Speedmasters.

I’d love to see Omega release a new Panda dial....I’d be first in line to buy one!

The white one would look amazing with it. Or reverse on a hesalite.
I don't think you'll see any more hesalite Speedmasters. They keep the basic one in the catalog for the few purists and die-hard fans, but all future releases will be sapphire, it's hard to justify a 'luxury' watch in the $8,000+ range with a plastic crystal.

Especially now with the domed sapphire. Hopefully that'll be used throughout.

I guess I meant a standard black dial one.

Good point, I doubt 99% of Omega watch buyers would know what hesalite is.

Other than being 1000 cheaper.

common detail... all came with a Tachymètre bezel 😲 !
How hard can it be to include an extra " 60 seconds " or " Pulsations " bezel in that huge Speedmaster box ?
Never thought we would see the day that diamond encrusted bezels would appear on an Omega Speedmaster.
Will these practical bezels ever make a comeback ?

Other than limited editions, it seems a bit unlikely. It really does seem like this is a heritage thing; I doubt the Tachymètre has seen much practical use in decades (except by very, very few).
