Package arrived from Cousins this morning, amazing service as always.
New crown for the recently arrived Connie, who knows what the existing one was but it certainly wasn't even an Omega part.
Watch gods gave me a big smile, stem out, old crown unscrewed without a hitch and new crown on. Movement removed for a clean to the dial and crystal and all back together again - and breathe. Tbh expected all kinds of problems removing the crown, who dares wins, sometimes :)
Without opening the can of worms that exists as to the correct crown for the Constellation are any others prepared to accept the theory that some left the factory without the Decagonal crown?
Happy with the crown just fitted and lists as correct for this model.

About to be one unhappy beagle, blowing a gale and the rain is going sideways, heading out with the lad to help search for a local beagle missing for 24 hours. Can only hope we have success.

It'll tide you over 'till you find the proper one at least.

I take it you discount the theory that not all connies left the factory with the decagonal crown ? ::stirthepot::
