Finally had the funds to pick up a 16710, but got caught up with getting back on a Harley. It's been 7 years since I gave up riding but I really missed it. The GMT Master II will have to wait.

Nice bike, congrats on the pickup!

For me Watches are my fix now as with work I'm never in one place long enough to justify buying another bike. that and never having a local license..
Was a very sad day I saw this going off in the back of a van, though went to a really cool guy who was so excited.

    Damn that is badass.

OP...good call! You can always wear a watch, you may not always be able to enjoy a bike.

In land-scarce Singapore, a Harley is worth a number of pieces of GMT Master. Love ur new purchase! Ride it with Safety!

When I read threads like this, "will buy big bike instead of GMT Master II" I suddenly question my own priorities

Opposite here. I've ridden for the past 40 years and have owned as many as six bikes at the same time. But too many friends have been lost in the past several years to distracted drivers screwing with their phones. So I'm now bikeless. Watches are my new obsession. Be safe.

Same here mIss having a bike but had a couple of accidents myself and I just know I'll end up crashing it. Besides, I like driving a car with the family.

Last weekend I was at a memorial GTG for a good watch friend that I have known for 10+ years who died in June. Young driver turned in front of him while he was on his motorbike, and he had no time to react - killed instantly. The list of people I know who have been killed or maimed while on motorcycles continues to grow. Sometimes it just doesn't matter how careful you are.

To all those who ride, stay safe out there...
