Air King Date

Hi All,

I came across this interesting looking Air King Date. The owner has told me that it is all original, and it looks to be true. I am currently considering this watch. It is priced at around $2150 CAD. Would this be over priced?

More importantly, there is something engraved on the caseback of the watch. But I cannot quite make out what it is. Nor what it means. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

As always, any history, information about the movement, this specific model, or anything out of the norm would also be greatly appreciated.

If that early example was in stellar condition, I'd say go for it if you had liked it, but as others have said, it's overpriced as is.

Overpriced without the bracelet. If it were mint, that price would be reasonable.
