I want one with zero patina, an absolutely pristine movement and not a redialed one.
Which means you are looking for this:

I feel bad about the other watch, but the reality is that these watches were expensive in their day and most were well used by their original owners. The chances of finding one with zero patina, is well, close to zero.

@MSNWatch has his own private unicorn zoo, so he doesn’t count.

If you hear about one in pristine condition, please do let me know as I have been hunting for a very very long time for one. Next month, I am not in a hurry. I have looked on chrono 24 but what I have seen was not in that great condition and prices were and are high for the condition the watches are. I will look on ebay and I will post the link of an auction if the watch I want is worthy the try so that I can have all the right feedback before bidding
Is that all you want. Surely world peace as well?? 😉
Seriously what you are looking for is about as rare as rocking horse shit but good luck anyway
Maybe set up an alert on watchrecon app to help

I suspect if one like this shows up people will be tripping over each other to buy it, versus letting someone else know about it 😁 How much did you agree to buy the redialed one for? One like you are now seeking will probably be around $2k USD (and will not come around very often...).
Thanks for the feedback, the sum of money isn't a problem but I have to fall on one which hasn't been tampered of messed with so I will wait. But the rarity makes it complicated to buy.

Do you like this style? Or does it have to be older?
Very nice and pristine connie, I bet it is the one with integrated crown with calibre 561-564? Nice one. No really, I want an early dome or an early pie pan as I have missed many opportunities to buy one.

What would this one be then? 😬

It's a 2852 (and not for sale. At all.)

This thread is a rollercoaster. I am glad you got a refund. Never settle for something subpar. Save up, or wait in your case, and get exactly what you want.

Something like this would be perfect. The ones who have such watches never sell them.

This one is at auction right now. Full set (box and original papers)...

Not really an early Constellation as the OP was looking for though...

Good afternoon everyone

After a relentless 15 years old search I finally got what missed so much to my Omega collection, a Constellation Dome with cal 352 and this one is the ref 2652-1. I won the auction following my strategy to bid in the last 9 seconds before the end of the auction and it worked finally today because the 15 previous times if not more over the years I have been outbid 1 or 2 seconds before the bidding ended. In relatively good shape , it will go to service and will get a new bracelet. Pics from the seller , will post mine when I receive it.

Best regards

Georges

If you keep getting outbid may I suggest ibidder ,it bids for you in the last 3 seconds and gives other bidders no time to put another bid in.i have won many items this way.cheers Lidds

Ditto! My 2852. Also not for sale. At all.
I foolishly delayed making an offer on this but an OF dibs gave me a second chance that took!
